Construct Taxiway, Rehabilitate Apron

  • This grant will provide funding to construct a new connector taxiway, to continue rehabilitation of aircraft terminal apron, and to rehabilitate the air cargo apron at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.
  • The project will consist of construction of a connector Taxiway H (approximately 600 feet by 150 feet), rehabilitation of approximately 62,000 square yards of the south aircraft terminal apron (between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3), and rehabilitation of approximately 100,000 square yard of the west air cargo apron.
  • The taxiway construction is needed to facilitate access for taxiing aircraft between the south and north side of Runway 07R/25L and to speed up aircraft exit of the active runway.
