Reconstruct Airfield Guidance Signs, Reconstruct Runway Lighting - 06/24, Rehabilitate Runway - 06/24


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Cortland County-Chase Field Airport associated with Cortland, New York. The local point of contact is Mr. Charles Sudbrink, Superintendent of Highways. Mr. Charles Sudbrink may be reached at (607) 753-9377.
  • This project rehabilitates Runway 6/24 to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
  • This grant funds the design phase.
  • This project reconstructs the existing Runway 6/24 lighting system that has reached the end of its useful life.
  • This grant funds the design phase.
  • This project reconstructs four of the existing airfield guidance sign fixtures to meet Federal Aviation Administration standards.
  • This grant funds the design phase.
  • Cortland County-Chase Field Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as local, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
