Description:
Construct Apron, Construct Taxiway


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Ashland/Lineville Airport associated with Ashland/Lineville, Alabama. The local point of contact is Ms. Mary Wood, Clay County Administrator. Ms. Mary Wood may be reached at (256) 354-7888.
  • This project constructs a 5,581 square yard apron to provide aircraft parking for users of the airport.
  • This grant funds the final phase and includes application of the base material and asphalt paving.
  • This project constructs a 360 foot taxiway to provide access to a new apron.
  • This grant funds the final phase and includes application of the base material and asphalt paving.
  • Ashland/Lineville Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as basic, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
  • Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
