Description:
Rehabilitate Runway - 18/36, Rehabilitate Taxiway


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Fort Scott Municipal Airport associated with Fort Scott, Kansas. The local point of contact is Mr. Seth Simpson, Airport Manager. Mr. Seth Simpson may be reached at (620) 223-5490.
  • This project rehabilitates 4,400 feet of Runway 18/36 to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris.
  • This project rehabilitates 6,110 feet of the existing parallel taxiway to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris.
  • Fort Scott Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as local, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
  • Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
