Rehabilitate Apron, Rehabilitate Runway - 18/36, Rehabilitate Taxiway


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Allen Parish Airport associated with Oakdale, Louisiana. The local point of contact is Mr. Douglas Sonnier, Allen Parish Police Jury President. Mr. Douglas Sonnier may be reached at (337) 639-4328.
  • This project will fund the rehabilitation of 5,000 feet of Runway 18/36 to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris.
  • This project will fund the rehabilitation of 5,800 feet of the existing parallel taxiway needed to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
  • This project will fund the rehabilitation of 8,000 square yards of the existing terminal apron to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
  • Allen Parish Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as basic, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
  • Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
