Obstruction Marking/Lighting/Removal [Hazard] - 17/35

  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Abilene Municipal Airport associated with Abilene, Kansas. The local point of contact is Mr. David Dillner, City Manager. Mr. David Dillner may be reached at (785) 263-2550.
  • This project removes airport hazardous tree and light obstructions to mitigate a significant adverse operational impact.
  • This grant funds the first phase, which consists of an environmental assessment.
  • Abilene Municipal Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as local, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
