Description:
Acquire Land for Development, Install Taxiway Lighting [Taxiway B], Install Taxiway Lighting [Taxiway D], Reconstruct Apron, Rehabilitate Runway - 17R/35L, Rehabilitate Taxiway


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Louisville International-Standiford Field Airport associated with Louisville, Kentucky.
  • This project will fund the replacement of 169 concrete slabs on Runway 17R/35L to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement and to minimize foreign object debris.
  • This grant provides funding for phase 2 of 2 and consists of replacing 115 concrete slabs.
  • This project will fund the replacement of 93 concrete slabs on Taxiway B needed to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
  • This grant provides funding for phase 2 of 2 and consists of the replacement of 50 slabs.
  • This project will fund the reconstruction of 55,000 square yards of the existing terminal apron pavement that has reached the end of its useful life.
  • This project will fund the installation of a new Taxiway B lighting system to enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions.
  • This project will fund the installation of a new Taxiway D lighting system to enhance safe airfield operations during low visibility conditions.
  • This project will fund reimbursement for the acquisition of 131 acres of land purchased in 2010 needed for airport development.
  • This grant provides funding for phase 2 of 3 and consists of reimbursement for 19 acres of land acquired for airport development.
