Description:
Designated for Nonprimary Airports in the State Block Grant Program


  • This grant will provide federal funding for airports in the Georgia State Block Grant Program.
  • This grant is funded by the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 to increase the Federal share to 100 percent.
  • This grant includes discretionary funding for the Barrow County Airport (WDR) located in the 10th Congressional District in Georgia to rehabilitate and extend Taxiway A in the amount of $2,001,295.
  • This grant includes discretionary funding for the West Georgia Regional Airport (CTJ) located in the 3rd Congressional District in Georgia to rehabilitate Runway 17/35 in the amount of $1,433,906.
  • This grant includes discretionary funding for the Perry-Houston County Airport (PXE) located in the 8th Congressional District in Georgia to rehabilitate Runway 18/36 in the amount of $1,827,151.
  • This grant includes discretionary funding for the Statesboro – Bulloch County Airport (TBR) located in the 12th Congressional District in Georgia to rehabilitate the parallel taxiway in the amount of $964,950.
  • This grant includes discretionary funding for the Lagrange - Callaway Airport (LGC) located in the 3rd Congressional District in Georgia to acquire land in the Runway 13 approach in the amount of $1,200,000. This is the final phase of land acquisition in the Runway 13 approach.
