Expand Apron, Rehabilitate Apron

  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Miami International Airport associated with Miami, Florida.
  • This project rehabilitates 177,200 square yards of the existing central base apron pavement that has reached the end of its useful life.
  • This grant funds the first phase, which consists of milling and overlaying 19,770 square yards of the apron.
  • This project expands the existing cargo apron to 63,890 square yards to accommodate an increased number of larger aircraft.
