Seal Apron Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints, Seal Runway Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints - 04/22, Seal Runway Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints - 17/35, Seal Taxiway Pavement Surface/Pavement Joints


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Elkhart-Morton County Airport associated with Elkhart, Kansas. The local point of contact is Ms. Gina Castillo, County Clerk. Ms. Gina Castillo may be reached at (620) 697-2157.
  • This project performs sealing and crack repair to 5,000 square yards of the existing general aviation apron surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
  • This project performs sealing and crack repair to 1,500 feet of the existing taxiway surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
  • This project performs sealing and crack repair to 4,907 feet of the existing Runway 17/35 surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
  • This project performs sealing and crack repair to 4,900 feet of the existing Runway 4/22 surface to extend the pavement's useful life.
  • Elkhart-Morton County Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as basic, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
  • Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
