This grant will provide federal funding for the Mecklenburg-Brunswick Regional Airport associated with South Hill, Virginia. The local point of contact is Mr. John Zubrod, Chairman. Mr. John Zubrod may be reached at (434) 729-2591.This project will fund the rehabilitation of 1,200 feet of the existing t-hangar taxiway pavement that requires rehabilitation to ensure safe airfield operations.This project will fund the rehabilitation of 8,000 square yards of the existing terminal apron to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.Mecklenburg-Brunswick Regional Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as local, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
