Description:
Rehabilitate Apron, Rehabilitate Taxiway


  • This grant will provide federal funding for the Mecklenburg-Brunswick Regional Airport associated with South Hill, Virginia. The local point of contact is Mr. John Zubrod, Chairman. Mr. John Zubrod may be reached at (434) 729-2591.
  • This project will fund the rehabilitation of 1,200 feet of the existing t-hangar taxiway pavement that requires rehabilitation to ensure safe airfield operations.
  • This project will fund the rehabilitation of 8,000 square yards of the existing terminal apron to maintain the structural integrity of the pavement.
  • Mecklenburg-Brunswick Regional Airport is a general aviation airport, designated as local, as defined in the FAA's National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems (NPIAS) report.
  • Following this grant announcement, FAA will notify the sponsor of the allocation. A grant offer will be issued subsequently for this grant as finally formulated.
